CANCELLED Saturday June 19th
Family Pedal Power in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care
Fun, family-friendly ride along the pretty River Lune Millennium path to the Crook O Lune - and raise money for a unique cancer charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care. Marie Curie Cancer Care representatives will be there to greet you and you will be met at the end by the fundraising team who will help you and your family celebrate completing the ride. All children taking part must be accompanied by an adult.
All monies raised will be spent by the charity on providing free nursing care for terminally ill cancer patients in your local area who have chosen to spend their final days in the comfort of their own home instead of hospital. We ask, as a family, that you try and raise sponsorship. £20 provides one hour of nursing care and £180 is the cost of a whole shift, so whatever you can raise will make a difference!
Start 11am at Green Ayre, Lancaster (approx 6.5 km) Adult £5 (children free) incl. fundraising pack
